Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 4 · Page 65953

Translation · EN

"Then why"—meaning why did he not—Pharaoh says: "have bracelets of gold been cast upon him"—Al-Hasan's interpretation: wealth of gold.

Muhammad said: It is said: 'Asawirah' (bracelets) is the plural of 'aswirah'.

"Or do the angels come with him as companions"—walking together openly, confirming his statement that he is the Messenger of God.
