Allah said: {Thus}, meaning: such was the account. {And We caused others to inherit them}, meaning: the Children of Israel.
قَالَ الله: ﴿كَذَلِك﴾ أَي: هَكَذَا كَانَ الْخَبَر ﴿وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا قوما آخَرين﴾ يَعْنِي: بني إِسْرَائِيل
