[And We will pair them with fair women, with large, beautiful eyes] - According to the interpretation of al-Hasan, this means: Thus has God decreed for the people of Paradise. And the "Hur" (fair women) are those who are white-skinned, according to the interpretation of Qatada, and the "'In" are those with large, beautiful eyes.
Muhammad said: His statement [And We will pair them] means: We have joined them with them.
﴿كَذَلِك وزوجناهم بحور عين﴾ تَفْسِير الْحسن، أَي: كَذَلِك حكم الله لأهل الْجنَّة بِهَذَا؛ والحُور: البيضُ؛ فِي تَفْسِير قَتَادَة، والعِينُ: عظامُ الْعُيُون.
قَالَ محمدٌ: قَوْله ﴿وزوجناهم﴾ أَي: قرناهم بِهن.
