Allah says: "Those are the ones upon whom the word has come into effect," [meaning] the wrath has become due upon them, "[with] nations"—that is, along with nations—"that have passed on before them of jinn and mankind," [who] have departed into the Fire.
قَالَ اللَّه: ﴿أُولَئِكَ الَّذِينَ حَقَّ عَلَيْهِم القَوْل﴾ وَجب عَلَيْهِم الْغَضَب ﴿فِي أُمَمٍ﴾ أَيْ: مَعَ أُمَمٍ ﴿قَدْ خَلَتْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالإِنْسِ﴾ صَارُوا إِلَى النَّار.
