Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 4 · Page 81920

Translation · EN

"And the Day those who disbelieved are exposed to the Fire," and their exposure, according to the interpretation of al-Hasan, is their entry into it. "You have taken away," and it is also read with the interrogative by lengthening the vowel: (Did you take away your good things in your worldly life?). So whoever reads it without lengthening says: You have already done so; and whoever reads it with lengthening, it is in the sense of an interrogation (… .) meaning: You have indeed done so. The meaning is: that you have taken away "your good things."
