"Certainly has Allah showed to His Messenger the vision in truth: you will surely enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, in safety, with your heads shaved and [hair] shortened, not fearing [anyone]." In the exegesis of al-Kalbi, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saw in a dream during his departure to Medina as if he were in Mecca, and his companions had shaved and shortened their hair. The Messenger of Allah informed the believers of that, and they rejoiced, saying: "It is revelation." When the Messenger of Allah returned from Hudaybiyyah, some people doubted and said: "He had a vision, but that which he saw did not happen." So Allah (glorified and exalted is He) said: "Certainly has Allah showed to His Messenger the vision in truth: you will surely enter the Sacred Mosque, if Allah wills, in safety."
