[The believers are only those who have believed in Allah and His Messenger and then do not doubt]—meaning, do not harbor doubt—[but strive with their wealth and their lives in the cause of Allah. It is those who are the truthful] in what they have professed of faith, with their hearts being sincere in it, not as the hypocrites have done.
﴿إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرَسُوله ثمَّ لم يرتابوا﴾ يشكوا ﴿وَجَاهَدُوا بِأَمْوَالِهِمْ وَأَنْفُسِهِمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أُولَئِكَ هُمُ الصَّادِقُونَ﴾ بِمَا أعْطوا من الْإِيمَان مُخْلصة بِهِ قُلُوبهم، لَيْسَ كَمَا صنع المُنَافِقُونَ.
