"[Were We then weary by the first creation?] The tafsir of al-Hasan: meaning, the creation of Adam; that is, He was not weary by it. [Nay, they are in doubt of a new creation] meaning: the Resurrection.
Muhammad said: The meaning is: He was not weary by the first creation, and likewise, He is not weary by the second creation, which is the Resurrection; this is what al-Hasan intended. It is said: 'Ayia bi-amrihi ya'ya 'aya'an' (he was incapable/weary of his affair), and 'a'ya fi al-mashyi i'ya'an' (he became exhausted in walking).
Tafsir of verses 16 through 22 of Surah Q."
