Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Aziz by Ibn Abi Zamanin
Volume 4 · Page 983

Translation · EN

"The people of Paradise shall see their Lord to the amount of every holiday you have—as if he is saying: once every seven days. They shall come to the Lord of Glory in green garments (their faces radiant) and bracelets of gold adorned with pearls and emeralds, and upon them are crowns of (pearls). They shall ride their noble mounts and seek permission to see their Lord, and they shall be admitted to Him; then our Lord shall command honor for them."

Yahya said: A man from the people of Kufa informed me, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from al-Hasan, who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The people of Paradise shall look upon their Lord every Friday on a dune of camphor, whose two ends cannot be seen, and in it there is a flowing river whose banks are musk, upon which are young women reciting the Quran with the most beautiful voices the first and the last [generations] have ever heard. When they depart to their dwellings, every man shall take whomever he wishes of them, then they shall pass over bridges of pearls to their dwellings. Were it not that Allah guides them to their dwellings, they would not have been guided to them, because of what Allah manifests for them every Friday."
