"And indeed, those who disbelieve would almost make you slip" - meaning, they would strike you with "their eyes" due to the intensity of their gaze out of enmity and hatred, "when they hear the Reminder [the Quran]."
﴿وَإِنْ يَكَادُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ﴾ لينفذونك ﴿بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ﴾ لشدَّة نَظَرِهِمْ عَدَاوةٌ وَبُغْضًا ﴿لَمَّا سمعُوا الذّكر﴾.
