"So whoever seeks beyond that"—meaning, beyond their wives or what their right hands possess—"then it is those who are the transgressors," those who commit adultery, for they have transgressed from the lawful to the unlawful.
﴿فَمن ابْتغى وَرَاء ذَلِك﴾ وَرَاءَ أَزْوَاجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانهم ﴿فَأُولَئِك هم العادون﴾ الزُّناة تعدَّوْا الْحَلالَ إِلَى الْحَرَامِ
