"And He placed the moon within them as a light," meaning: with them is a radiance for the people of the earth; in the Tafsir of al-Kalbi.
﴿وَجعل الْقَمَر فِيهِنَّ نورٌ ا﴾ أَيْ: مَعَهِنَّ ضِيَاءٌ لِأَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ؛ فِي تَفْسِير الْكَلْبِيّ.
