"And that the mosques belong to Allah"
Muhammad said: The meaning is: And because the mosques belong to Allah. "So do not invoke anyone with Allah" - regarding the interpretation of al-Hasan: He said: He means: There are no people other than the Muslims who stand in their mosques but that they associate partners with Allah within them, so be sincere to Allah.
﴿وَأَن الْمَسَاجِد لله﴾
قَالَ محمدٌ: الْمَعْنَى: وَلِأَنَّ الْمَسَاجِدَ لِلَّهِ. ﴿فَلا تَدْعُوا مَعَ اللَّهِ أحدا﴾ تَفْسِيرُ الْحَسَنِ: قَالَ: يَقُولُ: لَيْسَ مِنْ قَوْمٍ غَيْرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَقُومُونَ فِي مَسَاجِدِهِمْ إِلَّا وَهُمْ يُشْرِكُونَ بِاللَّه فِيهَا، فأخلصُوا لله.
