"It spares not, nor leaves." It leaves nothing of his flesh, blood, hair, skin, bones, or internal organs once he enters it. It proceeds until it reaches the heart, and the heart cries out. When it finishes with his heart, it finds nothing left to cling to, then Allah restores his creation, and it consumes him again.
﴿لَا تبقي وَلَا تذر﴾ لَا تُبْقِي إِذَا دَخَلَهَا شَيْئًا مِنْ لَحْمِهِ وَدَمِهِ وَشَعْرِهِ وَبَشَرِهِ وُعِظَامِهِ وَأَحْشَائِهِ؛ حَتَّى تَهْجُمَ عَلَى الْفُؤَادَ فَيُصِيحُ الْفُؤَادُ فَإِذَا انْتَهْتَ إِلَى فُؤَادِهِ لَمْ تَجِدْ شَيْئًا تَتَعَلَّقْ بِهِ، ثُمَّ يُجَدِّدُ اللَّهُ خلقه فتأكله أَيْضا
