(And the leg is intertwined with the leg). Al-Hasan's interpretation: This is at the time of death, when the affairs of this world and the affairs of the Hereafter converge.
Muhammad said: Meaning the distress of this world and the distress of the Hereafter.
﴿والتفت السَّاق بالساق﴾ تَفْسِيرُ الْحَسَنِ: هَذَا عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ، اجْتَمَعَ أَمْرُ الدُّنْيَا وَأَمَرُ الْآخِرَةِ.
قَالَ محمدٌ: يَعْنِي: كَرْبَ الدُّنْيَا وكرب الْآخِرَة.
