"Proceed to a shadow of three columns." Two tongues of flame will emerge from the Fire before they enter the Fire, and it will surround the polytheists, then black smoke will rise from the Fire, then it will become three divisions; they will seek refuge in it, hoping that it will shade them from the intensity of the heat of the Fire, but it will not shade them, and they will find from it the same heat they found before they sought refuge in it.
﴿انْطَلِقُوا إِلَى ظِلٍّ ذِي ثَلاثِ شعب﴾ يَخْرُجُ مِنَ النَّارِ لِسَانَانِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَدْخُلُوا النَّارَ فَيُحِيطُ بِالْمُشْرِكِينَ، ثُمَّ يَسْطَعُ مِنَ النَّارِ دخانٌ أَسْوَدٌ، ثُمَّ يَصِيرُ ثَلاثَ فِرَقٍ؛ فَيَلْجَئُونَ إِلَيْهِ يَرْجُونَ أَنْ يُظِلَّهُمْ مِنْ شِدَّةِ حَرِّ النَّارِ، فَلا يُظِلُّهُمْ وَيَجِدُونَ مِنْهُ مِنَ الْحَرِّ مِثْلَ مَا وَجَدُوا قَبْلَ أَنْ يلجئوا إِلَيْهِ
