His saying: "By those who extract with force" (wa-al-nazi'at gharqan). Al-Hasan's interpretation: They are the stars that are extracted from the east and sink in the west.
قَوْله: ﴿والنازعات غرقا﴾ تَفْسِيرُ الْحَسَنِ: هِيَ النُّجُومُ تُنْزَعُ مِنَ الْمَشْرِقِ، وَتَغْرِقُ فِي الْمَغْرِبِ
