Muhammad said: It is said, 'Aqbartu al-rajul' (I provided a grave for the man), meaning I assigned him a grave, and 'Qabartuhu' means I buried him. It is also said: Allah resurrected the dead (anshara Allahu al-mawta) and they were brought to life (fanasharu), so the singular for them is nashir (one who is resurrected).
Interpretation of Surah 'Abasa from verse (23-42)
قَالَ محمدٌ: يُقَالُ: أقبرتُ الرجلَ جَعَلْتُ لَهُ قَبْرًا، وقَبَرْتُه دَفَنْتُه، وَيُقَالُ: أَنْشَرَ اللهُ الْمَوْتَى فَنَشَرُوا , فواحدهم: ناشِرٌ.
