Muhammad said: "Al-'ishar" (pregnant she-camels) refers to camels that are pregnant. The singular form is "ushara'", and it refers to a camel that has reached ten months of pregnancy. It retains this name until it gives birth, and even after it gives birth.
(ل ٣٨٧) قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: (العِشارُ) مِنَ الْإِبِلِ: الْحَوَامِلُ، وَاحِدُهَا: عشَراءُ، وَهِيَ الَّتِي أَتَى عَلَيْهَا فِي الْحَبَلِ عَشْرَةُ أَشْهُرٍ، ثُمَّ يَزَالُ ذَلِكَ اسْمُهَا حَتَّى تضع وَبَعْدَمَا تضع.
