“And when the Hellfire is set ablaze,” meaning: it is ignited. It has been ignited since the heavens and the earth were created in the six days.
﴿وَإِذا الْجَحِيم سعرت﴾ أُوقِدَتْ، وَهِيَ تُوقَدُ مُنْذُ خُلِقَتْ السَّمَوَات وَالْأَرْض فِي السِّتَّة الْأَيَّام
