{Has there reached you} - that is, it has already reached you - {the story of the hosts, Pharaoh and Thamud}, how Allah destroyed them when they denied their messengers.
﴿هَل أَتَاك﴾ أَيْ: قَدْ أَتَاكَ ﴿حَدِيثُ الْجُنُودِ فِرْعَوْن وَثَمُود﴾ كَيْفَ أَهْلَكَهُمُ اللَّهُ حِينَ كَذَّبُوا رسلهم.
