Translation · EN

"It emerges from between the backbone and the breast-bones," meaning: the man's backbone and the woman's breast-bones, which is her chest area.

Muhammad said: The tara'ib (breast-bones) are the place of the necklace on the chest; the singular of it is taribah.

﴿يَخْرُجُ مِنْ بَيْنِ الصُّلْبِ وَالتَّرَائِبِ﴾ يَعْنِي: صُلْبَ الرَّجُلِ، وَتَرَائِبَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَهُوَ نَحْرِهَا.

قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: التَّرَائِبُ مَوْضِعُ الْقِلادَةِ مِنَ الصَّدْرِ، وَاحِدُهَا: تريبة.
