“Iram,” and regarding “Iram” in the explanation of some of them: it is a tribe from ‘Ad.
Muhammad said: “Iram” is in the genitive case and is diptote (non-declinable with tanwin) because it is the name of a tribe.
“Possessing lofty pillars (dhat al-‘imad)”: the interpretation of al-Hasan is: possessing elevated structures.
﴿إرم﴾ و ﴿إرم﴾ فِي تَفْسِيرِ بَعْضِهِمْ: قَبِيلَةٌ مِنْ عَاد.
قَالَ مُحَمَّد: (إرم) هِيَ فِي مَوْضِعِ خَفْضٍ وَلَمْ تُصْرَفْ؛ لِأَنَّهَا اسْمٌ لِلْقَبِيلَةِ.
﴿ذَاتِ الْعِمَاد﴾ تَفْسِيرُ الْحَسَنِ: ذَاتُ الْبِنَاءِ الرَّفِيعِ
