Abraham will call out: 'My Lord, do not destroy me for my sin,' and Noah and Jonah will call out. The Fire will be placed to the left of the Throne, then the Balance will be brought and placed before the All-Mighty (al-Jabbar), blessed and exalted is He. Then the creatures will be summoned for the reckoning."
His saying: "That Day, the human will remember," meaning: he will repent, and this refers to the polytheist. "But what will remembering avail him?" meaning: how can there be repentance for him when it is not accepted on the Day of Resurrection?!
فَيُنَادِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ: رَبِّ لَا تُهْلِكْنِي بِخَطِيئَتِي، وَيُنَادِي نُوحٌ وَيُونُسُ، وَتُوضَعُ النَّارُ عَنْ يَسَارِ الْعَرْشِ، ثُمَّ يُؤْتَى بِالْمِيزَانِ فَيُوضَعُ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ الْجَبَّارِ تبارك وتعالى ثُمَّ يُدْعَى الْخَلائِقُ لِلْحِسَابِ ".
قَوْلُهُ: ﴿يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الْإِنْسَان﴾ أَيْ: يَتُوبُ، وَهُوَ الْمُشْرِكُ ﴿وَأَنَّى لَهُ الذكرى﴾ أَيْ: وَكَيْفَ لَهُ التَّوْبَةُ وَهِيَ لَا تقبل يَوْم الْقِيَامَة؟!
