"Or a needy person in a state of destitution," meaning: one who is stuck to the dust out of need, according to the interpretation of al-Hasan. Muhammad said: Whoever reads 'فك رقبة' (the freeing of a slave), the meaning is: climbing the steep path is the freeing of a slave or feeding, and this is the meaning of the statement of Yahya. They said: A man says 'taraba' (with the ra' ساکن/quiescent) when he is stuck to the dust, and 'taraba' (with the ra' مفتوح/vocalized) when he becomes poor, and 'atrasa' when he becomes wealthy.
