"And as for the favor of your Lord"—meaning the Qur'an—"then proclaim [it]."
Muhammad said: It means: convey that which you were sent with, and speak of the Prophethood, for it is the most magnificent [of favors]. This is the meaning of the statement of Yahya.
﴿وَأما بِنِعْمَة رَبك﴾ بِالْقُرْآنِ ﴿فَحدث﴾
قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ: يَقُولُ: بَلِّغْ مَا أُرْسِلْتَ بِهِ وَحَدِّثْ بِالنُّبُوَّةِ وَهِيَ أَجَلُّ وَهُوَ مَعْنَى قَوْلِ يَحْيَى.
