[His saying: "Then eat from it wherever you wish in abundance"]

[The first interpretation]

570 - Hajjaj ibn Hamzah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, regarding "in abundance" (raghadan), he said: Without reckoning for them.

[The second interpretation]

571 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, 'Amr ibn Hammad ibn Talhah narrated to us, Asbat narrated to us, from al-Suddi, regarding "in abundance" (raghadan), he said: Pleasant/wholesome.

His saying: "And enter the gate"

572 - Muhammad ibn 'Ammar narrated to us, he said: We read to Yahya ibn al-Durays, from Sufyan, from al-A'mash, from al-Minhal, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And enter the gate bowing," he said: Through a small gate.

573 - My father narrated to us, Malik ibn Isma'il Abu Ghassan narrated to us, Zuhayr narrated to us, he said: Khusayf was asked about the saying of Allah: "And enter the gate bowing." 'Ikrimah said: Ibn 'Abbas said: The gate was facing the Qiblah.

574 - al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Warqa' narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, he said: The Gate of Hittah (Repentance) is from the gate of Aelia of Jerusalem. Similar to the saying of Mujahid was narrated from al-Dahhak and al-Suddi.

His saying: "Bowing"

[The first interpretation]

575 - al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, Ma'mar informed us, from Hammam ibn Munabbih that he heard Abu Hurayrah saying: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Allah said to the Children of Israel: "And enter the gate bowing," so they entered the gate crawling on their posteriors.

576 - Abu Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Sa'id al-Qattan narrated to us, Yahya ibn Adam narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from al-Minhal, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And enter the gate bowing," he said: Bowing [and] from a small gate. So they entered on their posteriors.
