His saying: "And the needy"
841 - Harun ibn Ishaq and Ahmad ibn Sinan narrated to us, they both said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The indigent person is not the one who goes around among the people, whom a morsel or two or a date or two would turn away, but the indigent person is the self-restrained one who does not ask the people for anything, and it is not perceived that he is in need, so that charity might be given to him."

The fifth interpretation:
846 - Al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bashar narrated to us, Surur ibn al-Mughirah narrated to me, from 'Abbad ibn Mansur, from al-Hasan regarding His saying: "And speak good to people," for goodness in speech is that you command the good and forbid the evil, and you are patient, pardon, and forgive, and you speak good to people as Allah has said, and it is every good character trait that Allah is pleased with.
