1614 - Al-Mundhir ibn Shadhan narrated to us, Ya’la narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Malik informed us, from ‘Ata’ regarding His saying: "Then whoever fears from a testator, bias"—he said: bias: an inclination. It was reported from Sa’id ibn Jubayr, Qatadah, and Abu Malik something similar to that.
The second interpretation:
1615 - Muhammad ibn Sa’d al-‘Awfi informed me in what he wrote to me, my father narrated to me, my paternal uncle narrated to me, from his father, from his grandfather, from Ibn ‘Abbas, regarding His saying: "Then whoever fears from a testator, bias"—meaning by bias: error.
It was reported from Abu al-‘Aliyah, Mujahid, al-Dahhak, al-Suddi, and al-Rabi’ ibn Anas something similar to that.
The third interpretation:
I read to Muhammad ibn al-Fadl ibn Musa, Muhammad ibn ‘Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Shaqiq narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Muzahim informed us, Bukayr ibn Ma’ruf narrated to us, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding His saying: "Then whoever fears from a testator, bias"—he says: intentionally.
His saying: "Or a sin"

1616 - Abu Zur’ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, Ibn Lahi’ah narrated to me, ‘Ata’ ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa’id ibn Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "Or a sin"—meaning: or an error, so he did not act justly. It was reported from Muqatil ibn Hayyan something similar to that.
The second interpretation:
1617 - ‘Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, from Abu Ja’far, from al-Rabi’, from Abu al-‘Aliyah, who said: The sin is: the intentional act.
It was reported from Mujahid, al-Dahhak, al-Suddi, and al-Rabi’ ibn Anas something similar to that.
His saying: "Then reconcile between them"
1618 - Al-‘Abbas ibn al-Walid ibn Mazid informed us by reading, my father informed me, from al-Awza’i, who said:
