381 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far al-Razi narrated to us, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah, who said: The tree was such that whoever ate from it would defecate, and it is not appropriate for there to be waste in Paradise.
382 - Al-Hasan ibn Abi al-Rabi' narrated to us, 'Abd al-Razzaq informed us, 'Umar ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Muharrab informed us, he said: I heard Wahb ibn Munabbih saying: When Allah settled Adam and his wife in Paradise, He forbade him from the tree. It was a tree whose branches were intertwined with one another, and it had fruit that the angels would eat for their immortality, and it was that fruit which Allah forbade Adam and his wife from.

383 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab (that is, Ibn 'Ata') narrated to us, from Aban al-'Attar, from 'Asim ibn Bahdalah, regarding "caused them to slip" (fa-azallahuma), he said: He caused them to be removed.

384 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad al-Sabbah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, from Isma'il, from al-Hasan, regarding "caused them to slip" (fa-azallahuma), he said: From the slipping (al-zalal).
385 - Al-Hasan ibn Muhammad ibn al-Sabbah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, from Aban al-'Attar, from Qatadah - the like of that.

386 - 'Ali ibn al-Mubarak informed us, in what he wrote to me, Zayd ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us, Ibn Thawr narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Ibn 'Abbas, regarding "But Satan caused them to slip from it," he said: He misled them (aghwahuma).

387 - My father narrated to us, Khalid ibn Khidash al-Muhallabi narrated to us, Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from al-Zubayr ibn Khirrit, from 'Ikrimah, he said: He was only called Satan (al-shaytan) because he acted insolently/corruptly (tashaytana).
His saying: "And removed them from that in which they were"
388 - 'Ali ibn al-Husayn ibn Ashkab narrated to us, 'Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us, from Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah, from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, he said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Verily, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, created Adam as a tall man with a lot of hair on his head, as if he were a towering date palm.
٣٨١ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ قَالَ: كَانَتِ الشَّجَرَةُ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْهَا أَحْدَثَ، وَلا يَنْبَغِي أَنْ يَكُونَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ حَدَثٌ.
٣٨٢ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ أَبِي الرَّبِيعِ أَنْبَأَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَنْبَأَ عُمَرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مُهْرَبٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ وَهْبَ بْنَ مُنَبِّهٍ يَقُولُ: لَمَّا أَسْكَنَ اللَّهُ آدَمَ وَزَوْجَهَ الْجَنَّةَ نَهَاهُ عَنِ الشَّجَرَةِ، وَكَانَتْ شَجَرَةً غُصُونُهَا مُتَشَعِّبٌ بَعْضُهَا فِي بَعْضٍ، وَكَانَ لَهَا ثَمَرٌ يَأْكُلُهُ الْمَلائِكَةُ لِخُلْدِهِمْ، وَهِيَ الثَّمَرَةُ الَّتِي نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهَا آدَمَ وَزَوْجَتَهُ.
قَوْلُهُ: فَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ عَنْهَا

٣٨٣ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَطَاءٍ عَنْ أَبَانَ الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ بَهْدَلَةَ فَأَزَلَّهُمَا قَالَ: فَنَحَّاهُمَا.
الْوَجْهُ الثَّانِي:
٣٨٤ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ الصَّبَّاحِ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ:
فَأَزَلَّهُمَا قَالَ: مِنْ قَبْلِ الزَّلَلِ.
٣٨٥ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الصَّبَّاحِ ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ عَنْ أَبَانَ الْعَطَّارِ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ- مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ.
الْوَجْهُ الثَّالِثُ:
٣٨٦ - أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ فِيمَا كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ ثنا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ثنا ابْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: فَأَزَلَّهُمَا الشَّيْطَانُ قَالَ: فَأَغْوَاهُمَا.
قَوْلُهُ: الشيطان
٣٨٧ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثنا خَالِدُ بْنُ خِدَاشٍ الْمُهَلَّبِيُّ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ابن خِرِّيتٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: إِنَّمَا سُمِّيَ الشَّيْطَانَ لأَنَّهُ تَشَيْطَنَ.
قَوْلُهُ: فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ
٣٨٨ - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ أشْكَابَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ خَلَقَ آدَمَ رَجُلا طُوَالا كَثِيرَ شَعْرِ الرَّأْسِ كَأَنَّهُ نَخْلَةٌ سَحُوقٌ،
