Translation · EN

His saying: "So whenever there comes to you guidance from Me."

The first aspect:

419 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far al-Razi narrated to us, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah, regarding His saying: "So whenever there comes to you guidance from Me," he said: The guidance is the prophets, the messengers, and the clarification (al-bayan).

The second aspect:

420 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Safwan narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf informed me, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding the saying of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic: "So whenever there comes to you guidance from Me," he means by "the guidance," Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

The third aspect:

421 - Mahmud ibn al-Faraj al-Asbahani al-Zahid narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Yahya ibn Fayyad al-Zimmani narrated to us, Abu Bakr al-Hanafi al-Bara' ibn Yazid narrated to us, from al-Hasan, regarding His saying: "So whenever there comes to you guidance from Me," he said: The Quran.

His saying: "Then whoever follows My guidance"

422 - 'Isam ibn Rawwad narrated to us, Adam narrated to us, Abu Ja'far narrated to us, from al-Rabi', from Abu al-'Aliyah, regarding His saying: "Then whoever follows My guidance," he means the clarification.

423 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Safwan narrated to us, al-Walid narrated to us, Bukayr ibn Ma'ruf informed me, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, regarding the saying of Allah: "Then whoever follows My guidance," he says: Whoever follows Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace.

424 - My father narrated to us, Shihab ibn 'Abbad narrated to us, Ibrahim ibn Humayd narrated to us, from Abu Khalid: "Then whoever follows My guidance," he means My Book.

His saying: "There will be no fear concerning them"

425 - Abu Zur'ah narrated to us, Yahya ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Bukayr narrated to us, 'Abd Allah ibn Lahi'ah narrated to me, 'Ata' ibn Dinar narrated to me, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, regarding the saying of Allah: "There will be no fear concerning them," he means in the Hereafter.

His saying: "Nor will they grieve"

426 - And by the same chain from Sa'id ibn Jubayr regarding His saying: "Nor will they grieve," he means they will not grieve for death.

٤١٩ - حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ رَوَّادٍ ثنا آدَمُ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الرَّازِيُّ عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ فِي قَوْلُهُ: فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ مِنِّي هُدًى قَالَ: الْهُدَى الأَنْبِيَاءُ وَالرُّسُلُ، وَالْبَيَانُ.

٤٢٠ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا صَفْوَانُ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ أَخْبَرَنِي بُكَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ عَنْ مُقَاتِلِ ابن حَيَّانَ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ مِنِّي هُدًى يَعْنِي بِالْهُدَى مُحَمَّدًا- صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.

٤٢١ - حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ الأَصْبَهَانِيُّ الزَّاهِدُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ فَيَّاضٍ الزِّمَّانِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الحنفي الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ فِي قَوْلُهُ: فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُمْ مِنِّي هُدًى قَالَ: الْقُرْآنُ.

قَوْلُهُ: فَمَنْ تَبِعَ هُدَايَ

٤٢٤ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ثَنَا شِهَابُ بْنُ عَبَّادٍ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ: فَمَنْ تَبِعَ هُدَايَ يَعْنِي كِتَابِي.

قَوْلُهُ: فَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ

٤٢٥ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ دِينَارٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ: فَلا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ يَعْنِي فِي الآخِرَةِ.

قَوْلُهُ: وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

٤٢٦ - وَبِهِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ فِي قَوْلُهُ: وَلا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ يَعْنِي لَا يَحْزَنُونَ لِلْمَوْتِ.
