Translation · EN

His saying, the Almighty: "Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent."

18687 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Indeed, it is He who is the Beneficent," he said: The Subtle (al-Latif).(1)

His saying, the Almighty: "The uncertainty of death (rayb al-manun)."

18688 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "The uncertainty of death," he said: Death.(2)

His saying, the Almighty: "Or are they the controllers (al-musaytirun)?"

18689 - Regarding the saying of the Almighty: "Or are they the controllers," he said: The dominators.(3)

18690 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "Or are they the controllers," he said: Or are they the ones who decree (al-munzilun)?(4)

18691 - My father narrated to us, Abu al-Nadr Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Dimashqi narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Shu'ayb narrated to us, Talhah ibn 'Amr al-Hadrami informed me, from 'Ata' ibn Abi Rabah: That he narrated to him regarding the saying of Allah: "And exalt [Allah] with praise of your Lord when you arise," he says: When you arise from every gathering; if you had done well, you increase in good, and if it was otherwise, this is an expiation for it.(5)

His saying, the Almighty: "And at the fading of the stars."

18692 - From Ibn 'Abbas regarding His saying: "And at the fading of the stars," he said: The two rak'ahs of the dawn (fajr).(6)
