18757 - From Anas regarding His saying: "Two gushing springs," he said: They blow forth musk and ambergris over the dwellings of Paradise just as rain pours over the dwellings of the people of the world. (4)
18758 - My father narrated to us, al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Hammad, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas who said: The palm trees of Paradise have fronds that are clothing for the people of Paradise; from them are their garments and from them are their toothpicks. Their spathes are red gold, their trunks are green emerald, and their fruit is sweeter than honey and softer than butter, and it has no pits. (5)
His saying, the Almighty: "Hoor (fair, beautiful women), restrained in pavilions."
18759 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) regarding His saying: "Hoor (fair, beautiful women), restrained," meaning hoor, white; "restrained," meaning kept in the pavilions. He said: In houses of pearl. (6)
18760 - From Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) who said: The hoor are those with black irises. (7)
18761 - From Abu al-Ahwas who said: 'Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Do you know what "Hoor, restrained in pavilions" means? It is hollowed pearl. (8)
18762 - From Ibn Mas'ud, from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said: The pavilions are hollowed pearl. (9)
18763 - From Ibn Mas'ud who said: For every Muslim there is a khayra (a beautiful woman), and for every khayra there is a pavilion, and for every pavilion there are four doors. There enters upon her every day from Allah a gift, honor, and present that was not there before. They are not women who are slothful, nor those who are ambitious for others, nor those who have bad breath, nor those who are foul-smelling. They are fair women with large, beautiful eyes, as if they were hidden pearls. (Attributed to the Prophet). (10)

قَالَ: تَنْضَخَّانِ بِالْمَاءِ مِنْ شِدَّةِ الرَّيِّ «٢» .
١٨٧٥٦ - عَنْ عكرمة في قوله: ضاختان
قَالَ: تَنْضَخَّانِ بِالْمَاءِ «٣» .
١٨٧٥٧ - عَنْ أَنَسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ: ينان نَضَّاخَتَانِ
قَالَ: بِالْمِسْكِ وَالْعَنْبَرِ تَنْفُخَانِ عَلَى دُورِ الْجَنَّةِ كَمَا يَنْضَخُّ الْمَطَرُ عَلَى دُورِ أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا «٤» .
١٨٧٥٨ - حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: نَخْلُ الْجَنَّةِ سَعْفُهَا كِسْوَةٌ لِأَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ، مِنْهَا مَقْطَعَاتُهُمْ، وَمِنْهَا خِلَلُهُمْ وَكَرْبُهَا ذَهَبٌ أَحْمَرُ، وَجُذُوعُهَا زُمُرُّدٌ أَخْضَرُ، وَثَمَرُهَا أَحْلَى مِنَ الْعَسَلِ وَأَلْيَنُ مِنَ الزُّبْدِ وَلَيْسَ لَهُ عُجْمٌ «٥» .
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: حُورٌ مَقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ
١٨٧٥٩ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا فِي قَوْلِهِ: حُورٌ مَقْصُورَاتٌ حُورٌ بِيضٌ مَقْصُورَاتٌ مَحْبُوسَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ قَالَ: فِي بُيُوتِ اللُّؤْلُؤِ «٦» .
١٨٧٦٠ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: الْحُورُ سُودُ الْحَدَقِ «٧» .
١٨٧٦١ - عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ: أَتَدْرُونَ مَا حُورٌ مَقْصُورَاتٌ فِي الْخِيَامِ دُرٌّ مُجَوَّفٌ «٨» .
١٨٧٦٢ - عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ- صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ- قَالَ: الْخِيَامُ دُرٌّ مُجَوَّفٌ «٩» .
١٨٧٦٣ - عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ خَيْرَةٌ، وَلِكُلِّ خَيْرَةٍ خَيْمَةٌ، وَلِكُلِّ خَيْمَةٍ أَرْبَعَةُ أَبْوَابٍ يَدْخُلُ عَلَيْهَا كُلَّ يَوْمٍ مِنَ اللَّهِ تُحْفَةٌ وَكَرَامَةٌ وَهَدِيَّةٌ لَمْ تَكُنْ قِبلَ ذَلِكَ لَا مَرَاحَاتٌ، وَلا طَمَّاحَاتٌ، وَلا بَخِرَاتٌ، وَلا ذَفِرَاتٌ حُورٌ عِينٌ كَأَنَّهُنَّ بَيْضٌ مَكْنُونٌ.
مَرْفُوعًا «١٠» .
قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ
١٧٨٦٤ - عَنِ ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما في قوله: رَفْرَفٍ خُضْرٍ قَالَ:
الْمَحَابِسُ وَعَبْقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍ قَالَ: الزرابي «١١» .
