He fights them and they fight him until the believers gather in the villages of the Levant (al-Sham). They send a vanguard to him, among whom is a knight on a bay or piebald horse; they are killed, and nothing returns to them. Then the Messiah (Jesus) descends and kills him. Then Gog and Magog emerge and surge through the earth, causing corruption therein. Then Abdullah recited: "And they will be, from every elevation, descending." Then Allah sends upon them a creature like this naghafah (larva), which enters their ears and noses, causing them to die from it. The earth begins to stink from them, so the people of the earth cry out to Allah. Allah sends rain that cleanses it of them. Then He sends a wind that has a cold, freezing blast, which leaves nothing on the face of the earth without it having been overturned by that wind. Then the Hour is established upon the most evil of people. Then the angel of the Trumpet stands between heaven and earth and blows into it, and there remains no creature of Allah in the heavens and the earth except that it dies, except for whom your Lord wills. Then there remains between the two blasts as long as Allah wills; there is not a creature from the son of Adam but that there is something of him in the earth. Then Allah sends water from beneath the Throne, like the semen of men, and their bodies and flesh grow from that water just as the earth grows from the soil. Then Abdullah recited: "It is Allah who sends the winds... so We drove it to a dead land and gave life to the earth after its death. Thus is the resurrection." Then an angel stands with the Trumpet between the heavens and the earth and blows into it. Every soul goes to its body until it enters it, and they stand and come as one man, standing for the Lord of the worlds. Then Allah manifests Himself to the creation and meets them. There is no one among the creation who worshipped anything other than Allah but that it is following him, and he follows it. He meets the Jews and says: "What do you worship?" They say: "We worship Ezra." He says: "Does water please you?" They say: "Yes." So He shows them Hell as if it were a mirage. Then Abdullah recited: "And We presented Hell that Day to the disbelievers in display." Then He meets the Christians and asks: "What were you worshipping?" They say: "The Messiah." He says: "Does water please you?" They say: "Yes." So He shows them Hell as if it were a mirage, and likewise for everyone who was worshipping something other than Allah. Then Abdullah recited: "And stop them, for they are to be questioned." Until the Muslims pass by, He meets them and says: "Whom do you worship?" They say: "We worship Allah and do not associate anything with Him." He says: "Do you recognize your Lord?" They say: "Glory be to Allah," [falling] prostrate. The hypocrites remain with their backs as one layer, as if there are iron skewers in them. They say: "Our Lord." He says: "You used to be called to prostration while you were sound." Then it is ordered that the Bridge (al-Sirat) be set up over Hell, and the people pass according to their deeds. The first of them pass like the blink of an eye,
