18970 - From Abū al-Ẓāhiriyyah, who said: I was informed that Lubnān [Mount Lebanon] is one of the eight bearers of the Throne on the Day of Resurrection.
His saying: 'That Day you will be exhibited, not hidden of you is anything hidden.'
18971 - From Abū Mūsā, who said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: 'People will be exhibited on the Day of Resurrection three times: as for the first two times, they will be arguing and offering excuses. As for the third time, it is when the records fly into their hands; some will take [the record] in their right hand, and some will take it in their left hand.'
His saying: 'Here! Read my record!'
18972 - From ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ḥanẓalah, the Ghasīl al-Malāʾikah [the one washed by the angels], who said: 'Verily, Allah will stop His servant on the Day of Resurrection and reveal his sins on the back of his record. He will say to him: "Did you do this?" He will say: "Yes, O my Lord." He will then say to him: "I did not disgrace you for it, and I have forgiven you." He will then say at that moment: "Here! Read my record! Indeed, I thought that I would meet my account," once he has been saved from his disgrace on the Day of Resurrection.'
18973 - My father narrated to us, [saying]: Abū ʿUtbah al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī ibn Muslim al-Sakūnī narrated to us, [saying]: Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh narrated to us, from Saʿīd ibn Yūsuf, from Yaḥyā ibn Abī Kathīr, from Abū Salām al-Aswad, who said: I heard Abū Umāmah say: A man asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace: 'Do the people of Paradise visit one another?' He said: 'Yes, the people of the higher rank will descend to the people of the lower rank, greeting them and saying peace to them, but the people of the lower rank will not be able to ascend to the higher ones, as their deeds will fall short for them.'
18974 - And my father narrated to us, [saying]: Ibrāhīm ibn al-Walīd ibn Salamah narrated to us, [saying]: Rawḥ ibn ʿUbādah narrated to us, [saying]: Mūsā ibn ʿAbdah narrated to us: ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn Ḥanẓalah, the Ghasīl al-Malāʾikah, informed me that he said: 'Verily, Allah will stop His servant on the Day of Resurrection and reveal his sins on the back of his record. He will say to him: "Did you do this?" He will say: "Yes, O my Lord." He will then say to him: "I did not disgrace you for it, and I have forgiven you." He will then say at that moment: "Here! Read my record! Indeed, I thought that I would meet my account," once he has been saved from the disgrace of the Day of Resurrection.'
