Translation · EN

His (Exalted is He) saying: "Its evil will be widespread (mustaṭīran)"

19081 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding His saying: "Its evil will be widespread," he said: "Disseminated."

His (Exalted is He) saying: "A day, frowning (ʿabūsan)"

19082 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, regarding His saying: "A day, frowning," he said: "Constrictive, distressful." He said: "Long."

His (Exalted is He) saying: "Zamharīrā (intense cold)"

19083 - From Ibn Masʿūd, he said: "The Zamharīr is merely a color (type) of punishment; for God (Exalted is He) said: 'They will see therein neither the sun nor the chilling cold (Zamharīrā).'"

His (Exalted is He) saying: "And its shades will be low over them"

19084 - From al-Barāʾ ibn ʿĀzib, regarding his saying: "They eat of the fruits of Paradise while standing, sitting, lying down, and in whatever state they wish." In another wording he said: "That is for them, so they partake of it as they wish."

His (Exalted is He) saying: "Crystal made of silver"

19085 - From Ibn ʿAbbās, he said: "There is nothing in Paradise except that you have been given its likeness in the world, except for the crystal made of silver."
