19147 - From Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allāh be pleased with them both), he said: "A river flows from the base of the Throne of water, between the two morning lights, the distance between which is forty years. From it, every creature will grow, whether human, bird, or beast. If a passerby who had known them before that were to pass by them, he would recognize them as they grew upon the face of the earth. Then the spirits will be sent, and they will be joined with the bodies. That is the saying of Allāh: 'And when the souls are paired.'"
