from Allāh, and Allāh is pleased with her. He commanded that it be seized, so He admitted her into Paradise and made her among His righteous servants.
[His saying, the Almighty: "So enter among My servants and enter My Paradise"]
19295 - On the authority of Abū Ṣāliḥ, may Allāh be pleased with him, regarding His saying: "Return to your Lord," he said: This is at the time of death, her return to her Lord being her departure from the world. So when the Day of Resurrection arrives, it will be said to her: "So enter among My servants and enter My Paradise."
19296 - On the authority of Qatādah, regarding "O soul at peace," he said: This is the believer who is at peace with what Allāh has promised. "So enter among My servants," he said: Enter among the righteous. "And enter My Paradise."
19297 - On the authority of al-Suddī, may Allāh be pleased with him, regarding "So enter among My servants," he said: Along with My servants.
19298 - On the authority of Zayd ibn Aslam, may Allāh be pleased with him, regarding "O soul at peace" [to the end of the] verse, he said: She is given glad tidings of Paradise at the time of death, at the time of the resurrection, and on the Day of Gathering.
19299 - al-Ḥasan ibn ʿArafah narrated to us, Marwān ibn Shujāʿ al-Jazarī narrated to us from Sālim al-Afṭas, from Saʿīd ibn Jubayr, he said: Ibn ʿAbbās died in al-Ṭāʾif, and a bird came the likes of which had never been seen before. It entered his funeral bier, then it was not seen coming out of it. When he was buried, this verse was recited from the edge of the grave, though it was not known who recited it: "O soul at peace, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing [to Him], so enter among My servants and enter My Paradise."
