His saying, the Almighty: "And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied."

19374 - On the authority of Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allāh be pleased with them both), he said: So Allāh revealed, "And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied." So He gave him in Paradise one thousand palaces of pearl, whose soil is musk, [containing] in each palace what is appropriate for him of spouses and servants.

19375 - On the authority of Qatādah (may Allāh be pleased with him) regarding His saying: "And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied," he said: That is the Day of Resurrection, it is Paradise.

19376 - On the authority of al-Ḥasan (may Allāh be pleased with him) that he was asked about His saying: "And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied," he said: It is intercession.

His saying, the Almighty: "Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? And He found you lost and guided [you], and He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient?"

19377 - Through the chain of Mūsā ibn ʿAlī ibn Rabāḥ, from his father (may Allāh be pleased with him), he said: I was with Maslamah ibn Makhlad, and ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr ibn al-ʿĀṣ was with him. Maslamah recited a verse of poetry by Abū Ṭālib and said: If Abū Ṭālib saw what we are in today of Allāh’s grace and honor, he would know that his nephew is a master who has come with much good. ʿAbd Allāh said: And at that time he was already a noble master who had come with much good. Maslamah said: Did Allāh not say, "Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? And He found you lost and guided [you], and He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient?" ʿAbd Allāh said: As for the orphan, he was an orphan from his parents, and as for the poverty ('aylah), all that was in the hands of the Arabs was scarce.

19378 - On the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) he said: "I asked my Lord a request and I wished that I had not asked Him. I said: There were Prophets before me, among them was one for whom the wind was harnessed, and among them was one who used to raise the dead. So the Almighty said: 'O Muḥammad, did I not find you an orphan and give you refuge? Did I not find you lost and guide you? Did I not find you poor and make you self-sufficient? Did I not expand for you your breast? Did I not remove from you your burden? Did I not raise high for you your fame?' I said: Yes, my Lord."
