And he said: This is a hasan gharib (good, rare) hadith. It is also narrated by Ibn Majah (hadith/1357), Ahmad (6/61, 156), al-Hakim (3/622), al-Bayhaqi (3/5), al-Khafa' (1/29), al-Matalib (3402), Akhlaq (180), al-Majma' (2/219, 10/104, 110), al-Qurtubi (2/39), al-Baghawi (6/78), Ibn Kathir (1/366, 7/94), al-Kanz (3621, 3668), al-Kalim (83), Ibn Khuzaymah (1153), al-Mishkat (1212), Sifah (83), and al-Manthur (1/94, 265, 5/330).

379: 1999: And adversity: 1: His saying: "Zulzilu" (they were shaken), meaning: they were terrified by their enemies with a severe shaking, and tested with a great trial, as came in the authentic hadith from Khabbab ibn al-Aratt who said: We said: O Messenger of Allah, will you not seek help for us, will you not pray to Allah for us? He said: "Among those who were before you, one of them would have a saw placed on the parting of his head and it would reach his feet, yet that would not turn him away from his religion. And he would be combed with iron combs between his flesh and his bone, yet that would not turn him away from his religion." Then he said: "By Allah, this matter will be brought to completion until a traveler rides from San'a to Hadramawt fearing nothing but Allah and the wolf for his sheep, but you are a people who are hasty." (Tafsir Ibn Kathir: 1/251).

380: 2005: His disobedience: 1: In the hadith of Abu Dharr: "Your Lord marvels at the despair of His servants while His relief is near; He looks at them while they are in despair, and He continues to laugh, knowing that their relief is close."
