: 2457: Over you: 3: The saying of the Almighty: "That Allah has chosen him over you" means: He has selected him for you from among yourselves, and Allah knows him better than you do. He says: I am not the one who appointed him on my own initiative, rather Allah commanded me when you requested that of me.
