578: 3086: Obligatory Duties (Fara'id): 1: Among the virtues of Surah Al-Baqarah is what was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: "Whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited the end of Surah Al-Baqarah and the Throne Verse (Ayat al-Kursi), he would smile and say: 'Indeed, they are from the treasure of the Most Merciful beneath the Throne.'"
