80: 337: And the intercession (al-shafa'ah): 1: Al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih from the hadith of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The believers will gather on the Day of Resurrection and say: 'If only we could seek intercession with our Lord.' So they will come to Adam and say: 'You are the father of all people; Allah created you with His hand, caused His angels to prostrate to you, and taught you the names of all things, so intercede for us with your Lord until He relieves us from this place of ours.' He will say: 'I am not in a position to do that'—and he will recall his sin and feel ashamed—'Go to Noah, for he is the first messenger Allah sent to the earth.' They will come to him, and he will say: 'I am not in a position to do that'—and he will recall his asking his Lord for that which he had no knowledge of, and feel ashamed—and he will say: 'Go to the Friend of the Most Merciful (Ibrahim).' They will come to him, and he will say: 'I am not in a position to do that; go to Moses, a servant to whom Allah spoke and gave the Torah.' They will come to him, and Moses will say: 'I am not in a position to do that'—and he will recall the killing of a soul without justification, and feel ashamed before his Lord—and he will say: 'Go to Jesus, the servant of Allah, His messenger, His word, and His spirit.' He will say: 'I am not in a position to do that; go to Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, a servant whose past and future sins Allah has forgiven.' They will come to me, and I will set out until I ask permission of my Lord, and permission will be granted. When I see my Lord, I will fall down prostrate, and He will leave me as long as He wills, then it will be said: 'Raise your head, ask and you shall be given, speak and you shall be heard, intercede and your intercession shall be granted.' I will raise my head and praise Him with praise that He will teach me. Then I will intercede, and He will set a limit for me, so I will enter them into Paradise. Then I will return to Him. When I see my Lord—the same will happen—then I will intercede, and He will set a limit for me, so I will enter them into Paradise. Then I will return a third time. Then I will return a fourth time and say: 'What remains in...'
