: 4511: The Verse: 2: Al-Bukhari recorded in his "Sahih" as a "Ta'liq" (suspended) report in:

65- Book of Tafsir, 12- Chapter: "Those who responded to Allah and the Messenger after injury had struck them."

817: 4512: Injury: 1: Al-Manthur (2/101) and Ibn Kathir (2/113).

: 4513: They counted it: 2: Recorded by al-Tabari (4/117).

His statement: "Tushaddu" (it is tightened/strengthened) is not clear in the original, and thus we have established it [in the text] from al-Tabari.

818: 4521: The Disposer of Affairs: 1: Sahih. Recorded by al-Bukhari (no. 4563). Part of it is in: (no. 4564).

819: 4522: The Disposer of Affairs: 1: Al-Qurtubi said in the explanation of the Almighty's saying: "Those to whom the people said... (the verse)": There is a difference of opinion regarding it. Mujahid, Muqatil, 'Ikrimah, and al-Kalbi said: It is Nu'aym ibn Mas'ud al-Ashja'i. The wording is general but its meaning is specific, like His saying: "Or do they envy the people," meaning Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace). Al-Suddi said: It is a Bedouin who was tasked with that. Ibn Ishaq and a group said: He means by "the people" the caravan of 'Abd al-Qays; they passed by Abu Sufyan, and he sent them to the Muslims to discourage them.

820: 4533: Al-Nakha'i: 1: Tafsir al-Qurtubi (3/1524) and Mujahid (1/139).

821: 4541: Allah: 1: Al-Qurtubi said: Meaning, do not fear the disbelievers mentioned in His saying: "Indeed, the people have gathered against you." Or it refers to the allies, if you say: The meaning is "He frightens you with His allies," meaning He makes His allies frighten you.

In Sunan Ibn Majah, on the authority of Abu Dharr, he said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Indeed, I see what you do not see and I hear what you do not hear. The heaven has creaked, and it has a right to creak; there is not a space of four fingers in it, except that there is an angel placing his forehead in prostration to Allah. By Allah, if you knew what I know, you would laugh little and weep much, you would not take pleasure in women on the beds, and you would go out to the mountain passes crying out to Allah. By Allah, I wish I were a tree that is felled."

Sahih. Recorded by Ibn Majah (no. 4190), al-Tirmidhi (no. 2312), Ahmad (5/173), al-Hakim (2/510, 4/544, 579), al-Targhib (4/264), Ibn Kathir (8/295), al-Hilyah (2/238), al-Baghawi (4/94), Sharh al-Sunnah (14/370), Manahil al-Safa (26), al-Mishkat (5347), al-Manthur (3/265, 5/293, 6/297), Bidayah (1/42), Dala'il (158), al-Kanz (29829, 29838), and al-Sahihah (no. 1722).

: 4542: The disbelievers: 2: Tafsir Mujahid: (1/139).

822: 4549: Guidance: 1: Ibn Kathir said in the explanation of the Almighty's saying: "Those who bought disbelief in exchange for faith," meaning they exchanged this for that.

823::: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (1/432).

Al-Bukhari said: 'Abdullah ibn Munir narrated to us, [who] heard Abu al-Nadr, [who] narrated to us 'Abd al-Rahman—he is Ibn 'Abdullah ibn Dinar—from his father, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said:

"Whoever is granted wealth by Allah and does not pay its Zakat, it will be represented for him as a bald serpent with two spots above its eyes, which will encircle him on the Day of Resurrection."
