and [if by it is meant] transgressing the command of Allah the Exalted, then the abiding is metaphorical, [applying only] for a certain period of time.

Also by Ibn Majah (hadith/2250), Ahmad (5/313, 317, 3/476), al-Bayhaqi (8/210, 222), Mushkil (1/92), al-Tabari (4/198), Ma'ani (3/138), al-Mishkat (3558), Talkhis (4/51), al-Kanz (13098), al-Shafi'i (164), and Ibn Kathir (2/204).

: 4993: He repented: 2: It is established in the Two Sahihs (al-Bukhari and Muslim): "If the slave girl of one of you commits adultery, let him apply the hadd (prescribed punishment) to her and not reproach her."
