: 5. Nearness: 4. In the Two Sahihs (Al-Bukhari and Muslim), on the authority of Abu Hurayrah, the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "Indeed, Allah has ninety-nine names, one hundred minus one; whoever enumerates them will enter Paradise."

: 8. My servant: 3. Abu Ja'far ibn Jarir said: The meaning of "All praise is due to Allah" (Al-Hamdulillah) is:

Gratitude to Allah exclusively, apart from all else that is worshipped besides Him, and apart from all that He created, for the favors He has bestowed upon His servants—favors that cannot be numbered by count, nor can anyone other than He encompass their number. This includes the perfecting of the faculties for His obedience, and enabling the limbs of the bodies of those who are obligated to perform His obligatory acts, along with the provision He has spread for them in their worldly life and the bounty of living with which He has nourished them, without any entitlement from them to Him for that, and along with what He has alerted them to and called them toward, from the means leading to everlasting eternity in the Abode of Permanence.
