1092: 6122: The believers: 1: Imam Ahmad said: Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, Abu Bakr ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from Humayd al-Kindi, from 'Ubadah ibn Nusayy, from Abu Rayhanah, that the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever associates himself with nine disbelieving ancestors, seeking by them glory and pride, then he is the tenth of them in the Fire."
Weak. Narrated by Ahmad (4/134) and al-Majma' (8/85), and attributed to Ahmad, al-Tabarani in "al-Kabir" and "al-Awsat", and Abu Ya'la, and the narrators of Ahmad are reliable. Al-Manthur (6/99), Ithaf (8/375), al-Hawi (2/383), Ibn 'Asakir in "al-Tarikh" (6/342), al-Kanz (1293), al-Bukhari in "al-Kabir" (2/355), and Ibn Kathir (2/387).

1096: 6142: Hypocrisy (riya'): 1: Al-Hafiz Abu Ya'la said: Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Abi Bakr al-Muqaddami narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Dinar narrated to us, from Ibrahim al-Hijari, from Abu al-Ahwas, from 'Abd Allah, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever performs prayer well when people see him and performs it poorly when he is alone, that is an indignity with which he has treated his Lord, the Almighty and Majestic."
