Abu Dawud said: 'Abd Allah ibn Mu'adh narrated to us, my father narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Habib, from 'Ata', from 'A'ishah, that something of hers was stolen, so she began to invoke [a curse] against him. The Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Do not lessen it [the punishment] for him." Narrated by Abu Dawud (no. 1497, 4909), Ibn Abi Shaybah (10/348), Sharh al-Sunnah (5/154), and Ibn Kathir: (1/570-571).

1101: 6174: And the mountains: 1: Al-Qurtubi said: In these brief words—from this verse—are many meanings for those who contemplate them. It is said: If you forgive, then Allah will forgive you. Ibn al-Mubarak narrated, saying: He who heard al-Hasan say told me: When nations are brought before the Lord of the Worlds on the Day of Resurrection, it will be called out: Let those whose reward is upon Allah stand, and none shall stand except those who forgave in this world. This hadith is confirmed by His saying, the Almighty: "But whoever pardons and makes reconciliation, his reward is [due] from Allah."
