And it was mandated, i.e., it was advanced in age, and an old thing is called "farid".
138: 699: Its calf: 1: Tafsir Ibn Kathir: (1/108).
: 701: Two wombs: 2: Tafsir al-Thawri: (p. 46).
: 705: Those who look: 3: Fabricated (mawdu'). Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned it in "Al-'Ilal" (2/319) and said: "It was narrated by Sahl ibn 'Uthman al-'Askari, from Ibn al-'Adhra', from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ata', from Ibn 'Abbas, and he mentioned it as a mawquf (stopped) report attributed to him. He said: My father said: 'This is a fabricated, lying hadith.'"
Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar approved this in "Takhrij Ahadith al-Kashshaf" (p. 7, no. 52) and said: "It was brought out by Ibn Abi Hatim, al-Tabarani, al-Khatib, and al-Daylami from Ibn 'Abbas who said..." and he also mentioned it as a mawquf report. Shaykh al-Albani said in "Al-Da'ifah: 716": "Among the lapses of Ibn Kathir, may Allah have mercy on him, in his 'Tafsir' is that he cited it decisively by saying (1/110): 'Ibn Jurayj said...'! This is something that does not befit him, as long as the chain of narration to Ibn Jurayj is not established due to the anonymity of this Ibn al-'Adhra', and the accusation of Imam Abu Hatim against him regarding this hadith. Rather, it was incumbent upon Ibn Kathir to transmit the statement of the Imam as al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar, may Allah have mercy on him, did; however, it appears that he did not recall it at the time of his writing. And Allah knows best."
The hadith was cited by al-Zamakhshari in his "Tafsir" with the wording: "Whoever wears yellow sandals, his anxiety will decrease." Al-Hajar said in his takhrij: "Mawquf, I did not find it."
