it was narrated by Al-Hakim in his Mustadrak from the hadith of Al-Thawri, and he said: 'Authentic according to their criteria, though they did not record it.'

: 955: O Muhammad: 2: Al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih from the hadith of Anas, may God be pleased with him, who said: 'Abd Allah ibn Salam heard of the arrival of the Messenger of God (peace and blessings of God be upon him) while he was in a land harvesting. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) and said: "I am going to ask you about three things that no one knows except a prophet: What is the first of the signs of the Hour? What is the first food for the people of Paradise? And what causes a child to resemble his father or his mother?" He said: "Gabriel has just informed me of them." He said: "Gabriel?" He said: "Yes." He said: "That is the enemy of the Jews among the angels." So he recited this verse: "Whoever is an enemy to Gabriel, it is he who has brought it down upon your heart." As for the first of the signs of the Hour, it is a fire that will gather people from the East to the West. As for the first food of the people of Paradise, it is the extra lobe of the whale's liver. And if a man's fluid precedes the woman's fluid, the child resembles the father, and if the woman's fluid precedes, it resembles her.' He said: 'I bear witness that there is no god but God, and I bear witness that you are the Messenger of God (peace and blessings of God be upon him). O Messenger of God, the Jews are a people of slander, and if they find out about my Islam before you ask them, they will slander me.' Then the Jews came, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of God be upon him) said: 'What kind of man is 'Abd Allah among you?' They said: 'Our best and the son of our best, and our leader and the son of our leader.' He said: 'What do you think if 'Abd Allah ibn Salam accepts Islam?' They said: 'May God protect him from that.' 'Abd Allah came out and said: 'I bear witness that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger of God.' They said: 'Our worst and the son of our worst,' and they disparaged him. He said: 'This is what I feared, O Messenger of God.'
